our response to Covid-19

We at Pingree Northwest consider it our responsibility to ensure the health and wellbeing of our tenants, clients, vendors and employees during this unprecedented time. We have taken practical measures to ensure the buildings we manage remain healthy and productive environments. Below are the steps we have taken to mitigate risk to our properties, tenants, vendors, clients and team.

The best thing we can all do during this time is communicate with each other, stay informed, ask questions and ask for help.

Communication + remote working

We believe communication is key during this difficult time and want you to know we are available for you! Our Team is currently working remotely to limit our social interactions; however, we are around the properties from time to time and for necessary or emergency situations. You can reach us via email, phone call, Zoom call or text and in the case of an emergency please call!

Cleaning + Safety

Our top priority is keeping the buildings clean and safe for all tenants, vendors and visitors. Our focus has primarily been with the janitorial efforts in the common areas of the building to sanitize and disinfect common area touch points including door handles, crash bars, railings, restroom counters, dispensers, elevator push buttons, etc. Additionally, we’ve asked janitorial crews to use paper towels and disinfectant wipes instead of rags. These efforts are ongoing and will continue until further notice.

We have provided recommendations to all tenants to implement best practices with their employees including providing employees with disinfectant wipes to clean their own desk areas, phones, keyboards, printers, etc.

We are requesting that all tenants inform us immediately in the event they learn of an employee or visitor to the building testing positive or presumed positive for the virus. We will then take immediate action to notify janitorial staff and confidentially inform other tenants in the property.

Other basic recommendations are as follows:

  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick and advise employees to stay home if they are sick.

  • Wash hands frequently with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds.

  • Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth.

  • Cover coughs or sneezing with a tissue then throw it in the trash.

  • Use hand sanitizers

  • Follow public health advisories and recommendations.
